With rain forecast for 4 of the next 5 days, there’s never been a better time to looking in waterproof cameras. Fortunately there’s a new kid on the block – the super-light and compact Midland XTC-300 Full HD Action Camera.

The XTC-300 is tiny and comes with a waterproof case and three mounting kits for helmets, handlebars and ski masks (I can picture Jon from Delocated being fitted with one).

I’ve used a few similar action cameras and the most important thing is the ability to caputure the action as quick as possible. To facilitate this, the camera uses a single switch to turn the camera on and off, and to start/stop recording.

To also make sure you don’t miss those “did you see that!” moments, the XTC-300 is equipped with a high-quality 140° wide-angle lens and 1080p HD resolution.

The camera runs for up to 2 hours, powered from a Li-ion re-chargeable battery.
