To celebrate its new CitiScape collection of headphones, Philips is running a photography competition through Instagram, searching for the images that best represent the vast and vibrant sounds of the UK’s urban environments.
The competition will be open to anyone with access to Instagram for two weeks from 13th June until 27th June and asks people to capture the sounds that make their city what it is with their camera phone.
Five shortlisted finalists will be invited to an exclusive CitiScape launch event in London on 5th July, showcasing their photography to key influencing media and bloggers. One will be crowned winner on the night, receiving a place on a professional urban photography course in London, a selection of new photography equipment and a pair of headphones from the Philips CitiScape Collection.

How to enter:
All you need to do to enter is take a fun, creative shot on a camera phone using the Instagram app and tag with #MyCityMyMusic together with the title of your photo.
Photos should depict the vast and vibrant sounds of a UK city.
If you have a twitter account you can post it there too, for example: “Here’s my entry to the Philips CitiScape #MyCityMyMusic competition”.
Finalists must be prepared to provide a short commentary on their photography which will be used during the CitiScape launch event.
