Magic the Gathering for beginners – Wild Rush and Mob Rule 2013 intro packs

Magic-the-Gathering

We take a look at Magic the Gathering in a video aimed at people who are interested in getting into MTG but aren’t sure where to start. In this video, we cover some of the basics and take a look at two of the five intro packs form the 2013 core set, Wild Rush and Mob Rule, and show you what you get in the intro packs. The excellent MTG site we mention is Ertai’s Lament. It’s packed full of in-depth pre-con deck analysis and hands-on play tests. For all the Magic information you could possibly want, visit the Wizards of the Coast website.

I really enjoyed this, and thanks for the mention! Magic 2013 was a particularly good set for Intro Packs for a number of reasons, and it was fun to revisit them. Neat site, too! I’ve found myself browsing more than a few things that caught my eye…

Glad you enjoyed the video, Jay, always nice to know when you’re doing something right! And thanks for the kind words about the site too :)

As a fellow proponent of the intro packs, I really appreciated and
enjoyed this video. You managed to sell the game pretty well, especially
by mentioning the color pie which helps, and I can’t wait to hear you
talk about the deckbuilder’s kit (which was the first magic product I
ever purchased). All in all, an excellent product and a swell review.
