“The largest challenge facing TAH is that we can only share the full experience with our live audience. Fans can listen to our podcast, but there is something indescribably magical about seeing it live. Some of the top actors in the industry are delivering their best work on our stage, and we want to share that experience with fans around the world.”

Remember that Thrilling Adventure Hour Kickstater campaign I was so excited about the other day? Well they’ve reached their initial goal to make a web comic of Sparks Nevada Marshall on Mars. I’m not going to say it’s all down to me writing about it. But I’m not going to say it’s not either. If you want a bit of a behind the scenes on Sparks then check out the latest episode of the podcast which features the writers and stars of Sparks having a chat

But before you do that, do this! The team are so pleased about reaching their initial goal that they’re going for “the big one”, a concert movie chronicling a live recording of the Thrilling Adventure Hour at Largo. If you’re not a comedy nerd in the Los Angeles area it’s unlikely that you’ve been to a recording so it’s great that you (and I) will finally be able to join in.

“We want to make this performance as special as possible for the people who matter the most: our fans. Our backers have made so much possible for us, and this concert film will forever stand as a testament of our gratitude.”

Scheduled for Autumn 2013 this intimate 125-person performance will capture the quintessential TAH live experience. Tickets to the concert film (and its exclusive after party with the cast and crew) are only available via their current Kickstarter campaign. Fans unable to attend can pre-order a Kickstarter exclusive DVD, which will include bonus features such as behind-the-scenes featurettes, podcasts, and tons more. TAH is offering a series of immersive fans experiences as reward tiers, which grant backstage access, and even producer credits on the film.

You have until November 7th. Go throw some money at these good people.
