Belkin was the first third party manufacturer to develop accessories for the 30-pin connector back in 2003, and we are thrilled to be first to market again with solutions for the new Lightning connector.

Every new Apple unveiling provides an exciting head-first dash out the door for third-party accessory makers. We’ve been reviewing wave after wave of iPhone 5 case on our YouTube channel and iPad mini accessories are starting to come tumbling into my inbox. Very few accessories are taking advantage of the new Lightning dock connector and Belkin are first out the door with the Belkin Charge + Sync dock.

As you can guess from the name, the dock is a handy stand to place your iPhone neatly on a desk or bedside table, without having to remove your case. There’s even a 3.5 mm jack so you can feed the iPhone into a larger speaker system’s AUX port. Sadly a Lightning cable is not included. I could do with a few more of those.
