Libratone Loop – Woolly, Wireless and Round

Isn’t it beautiful? Libratone’s new wireless speaker looks like a pretty little satellite dish. And if you can’t find space for it on the shelf, just mount it up on the wall.

Like other Libratone products, the Loop works with iPad, iPhone, Android devices and Mac/PC through Apple’s AirPlay or DLNA for Android users. The speaker can also be used without a wifi network through Libratone’s PlayDirect technology that works with AirPlay and DLNA to create a direct wi-fi connection between the Loop and any compatible device.

The round shape is not just pretty, it supports Libratone’s FullRoom technology by bouncing sound off the walls and dispersing it in every direction.

“The Libratone Loop is born of the same design philosophy that defines the rest of the company’s lineup – uncompromising beauty and unparalleled sound quality,” says Tommy Anderson, CEO at Libratone.

Available in pepper black, salty grey or raspberry red from Apple stores, Apple online, John Lewis and other selected retailers for £399. Extra covers are sold separately in colours including pineapple yellow, passion pink, plum purple, petrol blue and icy blue.
