Comedy hero and contrarian Daniel Kitson has finally put out some material which you can buy for next to nothing from bandcamp. If you’ve not had the pleasure of seeing Kitson live, he’s easily one of the best stand ups the UK has produced, and his compassionate, introspective soul is wrapped in a fierce intellect and Rabelaisian wit. Sadly he’s not a massive fan of recording his work so it’s next to impossible to see footage of his performances and audio bootlegs of his shows are traded in the murkiest corners of the internet.

I remember listening to a dusty bootleg of The Ballad of Roger and Grace, a story show he wrote with singer-songwriter Gavin Osborn and loving the experience. Now you too can enjoy it for less than the price of a cup of coffee, the universal benchmark used when purchasing things over the internet.
